Destination Greece – private villa summer wedding in Mykonos
Steven and Jamilya’s island destination wedding is fantastic inspiration if you’re looking for a private and exotic location. The couple and their families traveled from far away to come together on the beautiful island of Mykonos for a gorgeous sunset ceremony. With just the closest of family and friends, this wedding was a truly intimate celebration in a relaxed style. (when in Greece… 🙂 ) Speaking of style, this wedding is a true example of tasteful simplicity. The seaside villa had so much charm of it’s own that a gorgeous flower arch was all that was needed to complete the magical backdrop for Steven and Jamilya’s ceremony.
Whether you’re here for the sunset sea views or the swoon worthy details in a minimalist colour palette, you’ll find lots of joy, love and style in this island wedding.
Have you thought of walking down an aisle with a swimming pool on one side and the Aegean Sea on the other?
Capturing Steven’s brothers’ faces during the ceremony was priceless. These candid images are so important and will mean so much to the family as time passes.
After we had captured some portraits for the newlyweds on a gorgeous little nearby beach (those are coming up..) Steven, Jamilya and their family kindly invited us to sit with them for dinner. This was a very special and different evening for us photographers as we got to know the families even better as the evening went on. It was a delight to be part of such an intimate celebration surrounded by the beauty of this island.
I second shot this wedding for my lovely friend Rochelle Maples Photography
